Welcome to Clairemont! Home of such famous San Diegans and landmarks as Star Wars’ own Jedi Master, Mark Hamil (Luke Skywalker), Cameron Crowe’s basis for the hilarious 1980’s teenage coming of age comedy/drama, Fast Time’s at Ridgemont High (Clairemont High School), and even a few reality TV stars, one of whom is the matriarch of one of the most famous families in the world, Kris Jenner. First populated in the late 1880’s, this community started its expanse with a small train depot located on Morena Blvd., and slowly began building up the hill starting at the bottom of Bay Park in 1936. Bay Park Elementary, built in 1939, boasts some stellar ratings on Great Schools, ranking a 9 out of 10. Other great schools in the area are Longfellow K-8 Spanish Immersion and Magnet School (8 out of 10 Great School rating) Holmes Elementary School (10 out of 10 Great School rating), Mt. Everest Academy K-12 (9 out of 10 Great Schools rating), and the infamous Clairemont Highschool which now offers acadamies tailored to your child’s interest, amongst many other schools within the area, most of which are elementary.

And in Clairemont, you are a stones throw away from some of the best attractions this gorgeous city has to offer. We are talking mere minutes to San Diego’s Gaslamp District, Seaworld, the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Pacific Beach, Mission Bay Park, Belmont Park, and so much more.
